|Hôtel de Communauté (Grand Lyon), Lyon, France|
The program is available on the conference website :
The 2014 symposium of the French Scientific Network “Urban Modelling” will be organized in Lyon by the LET (Transport Economics Laboratory). Contributions will cover the scope of the urban modelling. This includes, without claiming to the exhaustiveness, the built environment and the physical phenomena, the urban morphologies and the spatial and temporal dynamics, the nature and the living in town. This scope mobilizes the human and social sciences, the sciences of the environment and the engineering sciences. The main theme of the 2014 symposium is about the integrated modelling of urban systems. The scientific committee of the symposium wishes to favour research papers tackling urban issues from the point of view of the integrated modelling and the removing of barriers between urban dimensions and between disciplines.
About 60 proposals have been selected for oral presentation. The program will combine plenary sessions (including keynote speeches) and a stream of two parallel sessions. A preliminary program of the symposium will be available on this site at the end of August.
